So this is clerkship

We’re practically halfway our ten months of clerkship. This week is the beginning of my extended Christmas break. Clerks at the Philippine General Hospital enjoy a two-week vacation for the holiday. (Yup, you read that right. Other med schools / hospitals don’t even get a break.) Since our block’s elective rotation — which you can take in advance either in full or partially in during the summer — is scheduled right before the official break, our Christmas vacation is longer than usual.
